Rooted in a generations-old belief that good
food is the foundation of everything, Guidicelli Ristorante is the
natural culmination of one family's deep love of Italian cuisine and an
entrepreneurial drive to share it. Opened in November last year in Alabang's
Molito Lifestyle Center, the restaurant is a deeply personal venture that
brings authentic Italian flavors, Filipino warmth and hospitality, and family
traditions to southern Manila in a way that feels both authentic and distinctly
familial.
At its heart, Guidicelli Ristorante is a family
affair. Actor and entrepreneur Matteo Guidicelli and his father, owner Gianluca
Guidicelli, lead the kitchen and the vision, drawing on years of travel across
Italy and generations of culinary tradition to craft a menu that honors their
heritage. Matteo's only sister Giorgia Guidicelli Dato also actively supports
the family’s beloved culinary venture, helping translate their homegrown
traditions into a full dining experience.
That passion translates directly onto the plate
as Gianluca's Italian heritage shines through standout dishes such as blue
shrimp carpaccio, bistecca alla Fiorentina Wagyu, Atlantic lobster, linguine
with clams and bottarga, risotto carbonara, and tagliatelle with duck ragù.
Each dish is founded on regional tradition and refined through a lifetime of
experience.
It can easily be said that the restaurant’s
growing success is largely due to the family’s love for good food, as well as
the support of the family behind it. The
restaurant is equally close to the heart of Matteo’s wife, pop icon and actress
Sarah Geronimo who graciously lends her presence to celebrate the restaurant’s
every milestone. In the way, Giorgia receives the same kind of encouragement
from her husband Department of Justice Undersecretary Atty. Ian Dato whose
support reflects how the restaurant remains a shared passion project for the
extended family.
Already recognized by Tatler Dining Philippines
as one of Metro Manila’s notable new dining destinations, Guidicelli Ristorante
has quickly become one of the south’s most talked-about culinary experiences,
made even more enticing by its elegant interiors, designed by internationally
renowned consultant Anna Sy, which sets the stage for an intimate fine dining
experience.
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday, with
lunch from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and dinner from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Guests can
visit or explore more through its official website and social media pages at guidicelliristorante.com, facebook.com/guidicelliristorante, and instagram.com/guidicelliristorante. Savor
a rare combination of Italian heritage, genuine hospitality, and family
tradition right at the heart of Alabang.
